- Fly problem |
Dear Shell, We moved into a new home 4 years ago and we have had an ongoing problem with flies. I spray the house weekly and I still have flies. I am wondering if the carpenter could have forgotten to seal something in the attic or if you have any idea what I can do? Thanks, Maureen Dear Maureen, Some areas are more prone to flies than others; i.e. worst where livestock is around. Flies lay their larva in and around window sashes. During your spring and summer cleaning open the windows and clean all in and around window sashes thoroughly. You may want to consider installing a fly screen in your bathroom exhaust fan grille. Any open cavity to the roof cavity should be sealed. You can also spray fly spray up in the attic cavity during the summer. It's just that easy. Article courtesy of: Shell Busey |
