- Removing marks from your coffee table |
Dear Shell, We have 2 oak coffee tables that have 3 or 4 white marks on them. I think something hot was set or spilled on them. Is there a way to remove these marks without refinishing the entire table ? Thanks, Rena Dear Rena, These white marks are commonly called pizza box marks caused by heat from a hot teacup or pizza box. The product to use is Briwax available in light brown, golden oak dark brown or clear. Apply a small amount to the table using super fine steel wool and rub with the grain. Wait five minutes and polish with a soft cloth. It's just that easy. Article courtesy of: Shell Busey |
