- Installing linoleum over top of ceramic tile

Dear Shell,

We recently moved into a townhouse and the downstairs bathroom has ceramic tile. Two colours that don't match. Can we put lino/tile over top somehow or do we have to remove everything first?

Dear Helen,

My preferences would be to paint the tiles using an epoxy paint. First clean with T.S.P. and rinse well. Using Tub and Tile paint made by Klenks and apply two coats in your choice of many colours. To apply vinyl over tiles you would have to first apply a floor leveler compound over the tiles to level and then apply vinyl. Floor leveler is available at End of the Roll.

It's just that easy.
