- Removing smelly water stains from carpet |
Dear Shell, We carry water in the back of our van and we didn't realize it but one of the jugs had spilled leaving the carpet soaking for a long time. We only noticed it when we started to smell a really powerful moldy smell. It was so bad that if we had been in the van for even a short time, the smell was on our clothes. Since then we have left the doors and windows open as much as we can and I sprayed some stuff on it but the smell lingers. Do you have an answer for us? Thanks, Gayle Dear Gayle, 1. Vacuum area well. 2. Apply Deodoroc Carpet Deodorizer Powder at a rate of 1 ounce to 2 square feet. Allow to sit for 48 hours. Vacuum up using a new vacuum bag for reuse of Deodoroc. Call Non Scents Ltd. 1-800-669-8233 for information and availability in your area. It's just that easy. Article courtesy of: Shell Busey |
